Footballing great Cristiano Ronaldo has lent his acting talents to an odd TV commercial for Israeli telecom firm HOT.
The Real Madrid forward features alongside three Israeli comedian, all sporting dramatic hair-styles.
The trio debate what’s faster: Ronaldo or HOT’s broadband, following which the player is unveiled as the team’s surprise signing, sparking cringeworthy hero-worship.
However, the Portuguese attacker came under fire for featuring in the Israeli ad from Palestine supporters, with some confronting him directly on Twitter.
